You can do any type of job you’d like, as long as you have the right requirements for the job. These requirements can be a language, an age range, a gender or even a professional skill. So, make sure you fill your Profile Settings correctly.
In some cases, you should fill in the email address of the person that referred you to DefinedCrowd. This can only be done once, during the registration.
After you confirm your email, be sure to fill out your profile settings with the required information. From there, you’ll be able to apply for different jobs that match your qualifications and start working!
We need your permission to collect Facebook information like email, first name and last name. Check your Facebook Privacy Policies, and change them in order to allow us to have access to your email, and try to register again.
In order to make money, you’ll need to do tasks. Tasks are associated with jobs, and they can be very different according to the type of job they are related to. The more tasks you complete, the most money you’ll get.
A session is a group of tasks. They allow you to be more effective and do tasks more fluidly. You can do as many sessions as you like, just make sure to take pauses in between. In case there is more tasks available, you can start a new session by just clicking on the button "New Session".
Yes. In order for us to pay you, be sure to add a valid and active PayPal email on your Profile Settings page. Don’t forget to verify your paypal email via PayPal.
Some jobs require access codes. If there’s a job that you want to contribute to, just send us an email at email@example.com. If you match the job’s requirements, you’ll be happy to help.

The job’s contract is a standard document we need you to sign to start working. It allows you to have access to the tasks.NOTE:The contact’s starting date is relative to the starting date of the job.
Probably you failed our required standards for the job, but you can always apply for other jobs.
For most jobs you will do on our platform, we will randomly insert test tasks to which we know the answers. These tasks are inserted to help you understand the kind of answers we are looking for, and also to protect us against people trying to abuse our system. These tasks aren’t paid, but they are limited to a small percentage of the total tasks.
While you do tasks, we’re validating your work to guarantee the end result matches our quality standards. If you don’t agree with this evaluation, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Firstly, we’d recommend you check your progress again by going to the My Jobs page and clicking on Continue Job button. If your error persists, get in touch with us at email@example.com.
This simply means that somebody else finished tasks while you were doing your session. You can see if there are more tasks available by starting a new session.
Sometimes we need to validate your contribution before updating the status. This might take a while but don’t worry because none of your work is lost.
As you work through your session, your work is saved into our platform, so don’t worry about saving your progress.
Horatio doesn’t keep track of how many tokens you’re supposed to do (yet), so don’t worry about that. Your work is safe and we’ll get in touch with you soon!
Crowd members get paid by PayPal, so always make sure you have a valid and active email linked to your PayPal account on your Profile Settings.
Crowd members are usually paid after the jobs they have worked for are closed. We try to make the whole process as fast as we can. Don’t worry, usually it will not take more than 30 days. Bear in mind, that can take a little bit longer, though.
Well, that depends on the job you were doing and on the number of tasks you did.
